Privacy policy

What we collect

• If you just browse: nothing that identifies you. Your spoiler shield setting and similar preferences are saved in your own browser.
• If you create an account: your email address, the vines you follow, your alert choices, spoiler shield setting, watch checklists and poll votes.
• If you send a vine request: the text you type, linked to your account if you're signed in.
• If you become a Founding Supporter: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your name and email, never your card details.

Why

To run your account, send the alerts you ask for, remember your settings on every device, and count poll results. We don't sell your personal information.

Services we use

• Supabase stores accounts and settings. Vercel hosts the site.
• YouTube plays videos inside Nerdvine and provides video and comment data through the YouTube API Services. YouTube's use of data is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at Google security settings.
• TMDB, OMDb, IGDB and Google News provide movie, TV, game and headline data. We send them titles, not information about you.
• Affiliate partners (like Amazon or Fandango) may set their own cookies when you click a shop or ticket link.

Your choices

• Sign out any time from My Vines. To delete your account and data, email us and we'll remove it within 30 days.
• Clear your browser's site data to reset preferences saved on this device.
